The Innovation Radar – a European Commission initiative to identify high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation projects – recognized Fundacja Partnerstwa Technologicznego TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS as a ‘key innovator’ in the development of two innovations in the scope of ongoing project SOUNDofICE under Horizon 2020:
- A thin film technology, applicable to any kind of substrate, for inducing the removal of ice by a combination of active de-icing and passive anti-icing, in the “Business Ready” market maturity category intended for innovations that are putting concrete market-oriented ideas together and are considered advanced on market preparation.
This innovation contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals :
SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy – Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all,
SDG 9 Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure – Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation,
SDG 13 Climate Action – Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts;
- A new model to investigate the behavior of water and ice mixtures at surfaces, in the “Exploring” market maturity category intended for innovations which actively explore value creation opportunities.
