ABSTRACT
The COMP-ECO project is aiming at improving the research excellence of the Polish Mazovia region-based ecosystem in the field of Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) multifunctional composites and smart structures. The ecosystem is formed by 3 organizations: Technology Partners Foundation, Air Force Institute of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology. These 3 Polish partners will be supported by leading EU universities TU DELFT from the Netherlands and TU DRESDEN from Germany.
The COMP-ECO aim is to improve the research excellence and raise the research profile of the participating institutions and to create a sustainable network for scientific and technological co-operation in the field of Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) multifunctional composites and smart structures.
TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS’ ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Technology Partners is a coordinator of the project. The company will lead the project from the administrative point of view, will provide quality management, and will implement a dissemination and communication strategy.
TPF researchers will take part in the implementation of the joint exploratory research on multifunctional composites and smart structures with it’s CNT-doped veil production technology, which will play one of the key roles in the Project’s demonstrator.
TPF leading staff will visit Advanced partners for knowledge exchange and network building, and will participate in technical workshops, networking and training activities.
