ABSTRACT

The strategic objective of the project was to increase the participation of the research institutes forming the Lukasiewicz Research Network (LRN) as performers and coordinators of international research projects. The specific objectives that helped in achieving the overall objective were as follows: (1) to present and promote Polish scientific research thinking and achievements and establish contacts with potential future project partners e.g. during international networking workshops with member-organisations of the Joint Institute for Innovation Policy (JIIP), including VTT (Finland) and TECNALIA (Spain); (2) to organise a special dedicated session of the 10th European Innovation Summit at the European Parliament in Brussels devoted to Europe’s key technological challenges and Poland’s potential to be a leader or key partner in its development and implementation; and (3) to formulate conclusions and recommendations regarding LRN competency development based on the experience acquired in the course of the project.
