The TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS FOUNDATION (TPF) is part of the European project PROSPECTS 5.0 – Progress towards Industry 5.0, which supports companies in adopting human-centric, sustainable and resilient industrial practices in line with the Industry 5.0 paradigm. The project explores Industry 5.0 adoption through 14 real-world use cases from six sectors – manufacturing, IT services, education, energy, aviation and automotive – across EU Member States and associated countries such as Norway and Türkiye.
The PROSPECTS 5.0 consortium brings together 30 partners from 17 countries, including academia, research and technology organisations (RTOs), industry and SMEs, as well as use-case providers representing different sizes of companies and industrial contexts. The aim is to analyse practices, drivers, success factors and obstacles in the transition towards Industry 5.0 and to provide concrete guidance and tools to support this transformation.
As part of the project, an Industry 5.0 Community of Interest (I5.C) has been established. This European community gathers companies, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs and EDIHs), industry associations, project advisory board members and EU working groups dealing with Industry 5.0 concepts.
By joining the Industry 5.0 Community of Interest, members can:
- Share know-how on current Industry 5.0 practices and gaps
- Access ongoing studies on drivers, benefits and challenges of Industry 5.0
- Contribute to the definition of an Industry 5.0 assessment framework
- Access and contribute to the Industry 5.0 Wiki knowledge repository
- Get inspired by Industry 5.0 practices across different sectors
- Take part from time to time in online workshops and feedback surveys, playing an active role in shaping a common Industry 5.0 framework
Another key outcome of PROSPECTS 5.0 is a dedicated web application – the PROSPECTS 5.0 platform. This online tool will enable companies to:
- assess their current level in Industry 5.0,
- see practical examples of organisations at the same and next maturity level,
- gain insights into how others have evolved,
- receive advice on next steps in their Industry 5.0 journey.
The platform is designed for industries, SMEs and mid-caps from any sector, while other activities specifically address SMEs, start-ups, scale-ups and local innovation ecosystems such as innovation hubs, accelerators and incubators.
In PROSPECTS 5.0, Technology Partners Foundation leads the task dedicated to project dissemination and communication, ensuring that results, tools and opportunities to get involved reach European industry and innovation stakeholders.
