Preparation and submission of a Eurogrant application entitled “Preparation and submission of a Eurogrant application entitled FLION – waterborne Fluid frictION energy harvesters (water devices for harvesting energy from fluid friction) under the EU Horizon Europe research programme – EIC Pathfinder 2025 call (HORIZON-EIC-2025-PATHFINDEROPEN)”

The project has been financed by the European Union under the “European Funds for a Modern Economy” programme.

The aim of the project is to prepare and submit to the European Commission a Eurogrant application under the EIC Pathfinder 2025 call.

The project includes, among others, the following activities:

• building an international consortium,
• defining roles and task allocation,
• preparing the content of the Eurogrant application and the required documents,
• conducting working meetings.

The project’s target group comprises the R&D and administrative staff of the TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS Foundation.

The outcomes will be a complete application submitted to the European Commission, lasting cooperation among seven organisations involved in preparing the Eurogrant application, and the readiness of the TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS Foundation to act as a work package leader. Under the Eurogrant, the project will aim to demonstrate in laboratory conditions the feasibility of novel TENG (liquid–solid) matrices for recovering lost energy from electrostatic charges generated during water–surface interactions due to natural impact phenomena, which will be amplified by hull motion.
